The Chic bar stools are just that, Chic. These stools will add high style to your home, office, or restaurant/bar and features a bright chrome base and footstool with a ultra-supportive cushioned faux leather seat. Suitable for most any environment, the simple one piece seat employs quilted faux leather stitched over copious amounts of padding to provide excellent levels of comfort. The mid-level backrest gives good support to the lower spine. The chromed stand with adjustable height gas lift holds up the seat in a fashion that makes it seem as though it is hovering in the air. A round base with rubber protection for your floor, 360 degree swivel and the round footrest make the Chic different from the usual run-of-the-mill bar stools and gives more visual impact. A simple yet well executed design that goes a long way.

I ordered these on a Sunday or Monday. It said expect 10-14 days for shipping but I received them that Thursday. Nice! They were easy to put together and look great. I got them to use as extra seating/back up at my bar and kitchen island (we always end up with 5 ppl and only have 4 stools) but they're so comfortable that we're using them and put one of the old sets in the basement to be used if needed

Chairs are a perfect fit for what we needed them for, extra bar seats at the table and ready to be used for the holidays. Not only are they comfortable but sylist as well. Easy to put together.....literaly because this time around my wife did it instead of waiting for me. She was impressed how easy and proud of herself after all said and done. The chairs arrived as specified, and the parts were well packaged and easy to assemble. They operate perfectly on hardwood floors (and a rubber ring prevents any scratches from the metal base), and my family is enchanted with them. Also, I did not notice any odors from the leather as noted by other reviewers.

I bought this item and was very dissapointed. You really can't sit on them. They make you lean forward and can't be conformtable because the seat and the back support is all one piece instead of 2. thay just curved it on the bottom and they did not tuck it in. It's sitting in my garage, still in plastic. Don't waste your $$$.

the same day i got these chairs for the kitchen bar in my new kitchen, the hydraulic blew out the bottom of the chair and put a huge gouge in my brand new floors. the vendor wanted me to try and get these chairs back in the box before sending them back to them, or they offered me a fifty dollar refund. i spent close to $5k on my floors and now, right in the middle of the most highly trafficed part of them, there is a huge divot. thanks guys! i am going to file a small clmaims court claim and drag them to chicago, this is ridiculous!

Appearance: Very nice svelte modern look. Comfort: Quite good. Excellent lumbar support. Thigh support may seem a bit insufficient for tall people. Foot rest is adequate albeit slightly small. I've found them to be comfortable for relatively long periods. Quality: Generally good. Easy to assemble. Should hold up very well over time. Biggest negative: Slight chemical smell emanates from them, so air them them out for a couple of weeks before use. Overall: Great unless you are very big person

you get what you pay for. They look great and they were exteremely easy to put together. They are also comfortable to sit in. However I would change a couple things about them. I would change the base. The base absolutely has to go. If you're on a vinyl, wood, stone, or well a solid floor the base is perfect, but my bar area has carpet and the base is really not well suited to carpet. Lets just say you need to have a decent sense of balance and refrain from making sudden movements when the chair is fully extended to 31.5" or you'll be looking at the bottom of your bar. If they went to a base with 4 points that would solve this problem and to be fair I moved them into the kitchen and the stability problems were gone. Other than that I can't tell you how well they hold up over time, but they seem well built and I can't see a "weak" point in the design other than that darn circular base.
